Mattituck Historical Society

Admission:$2 adult, children under 12 free.
The Mattituck Historical Society grounds include the Jesse Tuthill House (c. 1800), restored into a "lived-in" residence reminiscent of the 19th century. The collection includes spinning wheels, rope beds, clothing, furniture, guns, arrowheads, maps, toys, and musical instruments. Other buildings include a milk house, a small barn, and the Little Red Schoolhouse (c. 1846), which is filled with 100-year old desks and displays.

Soundfront beach located on the west side of Mattituck Inlet.

Marratooka Lake
Small freshwater lake along the south side of Route 25.
Veteran's Memorial Park and Beach
At the end of Bay Avenue.
Picnic area, playground, bocci and shuffleboard courts. Lifeguard supervision during the summer months. Parking by permit only.
Bay Avenue Park
Located along James Creek
Small parking area, Little League baseball field, and two tennis courts.
